I have an old V1.1 mini streamer that I was using with a Curryman dac without problems using I2S in master mode to the dac. I wanted to use the mini streamer in spdif mode to feed another dac using an amazon fire 10 tablet. The tablet had worked fine using an OTC usb cable to feed another usb dac with a more modern usb interface, but I get nothing out from the spdif out from the mini streamer when trying to go from the tablet to the mini streamer to a spdif  dac. The tablet doesn't seem to see the mini streamer. The mini streamer is using a separate linear 5 vdc power supply, power jumper is removed, and power led on streamer is lit, and was working fine in I2S mode to the Curryman dac. I did not try the tablet using the Curryman dac/mini streamer combo before I disassembled it to use the mini streamer with another dac. I have noticed that I get continuity across the +/- of the spdif out with a multimeter, wondering if this is due to the spdif out transformer. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I got it working, sounds very nice. The problem turned out to be a bad switch that switched between the between the ministreamer spdif gnd, coax spdif gnd, and optical spdif gnd to the dac, no ground no music.
