Hello,

I recently bought UMA8-v2 (I was sent rev 0.5) and using the default firmware (which comes with DOA and Beamforming by default) I could not notice any beamforming effect after placing two sound sources at different distances to simulate background noise, the red LEDs turn on in an approximately correct direction (they turn on and off some times while I speak) but there is no diminishment of the captured "noisy" signal. I have also upgraded to the latest firmware version with no improvements.

On the other hand, the audio quality is terrible, at 2M I can barely hear what is recorded without doing amplification in Audacity while speaking out loud. When using the RAW multi-channel mode the quality it is even worse as the audio is really noisy and white noise is heard higher than voice so I could not use ODAS to perform Beamforming.

I would like to have assistance to solve these issues, I bought this hardware to develop a Speech recognition system but I am not noticing any of the advertised advantages.

Thanks.
