Hi,

My UMA-8-SP is connected to both a 12v 1A power source and USB to a computer. I attached two speakers to the amplifier output. The mic array works using either the raw or DSP firmware, but the speakers cannot emit any sound using both firmware.

There seems no effect (LED on/off, etc.) when I plug in the 12v power source or not. Is there any settings to make it work? or any indicator that the amplifier is working?

Thanks,
Anran

@ Anran

Very odd.. We'd need more information to understand what's the reason here.
a) First we recommend that you get a more powerful power supply just in case it's a power supply issue. At QC steps, all units are tripple tested for audio output.
b) Did you make sure to correctly configure your audio driver? i.e. Which OS are you using?

Please provide more information on your setup so we can help. Mostly wiring + screenshots of your driver configuration.

Hi Devteam,

1. Yes I actually have tried two 12v 1A power supplies of different brands. In both cases it does not work. What's the minimum current it requires? My speakers are 2.5w each so I don't think a more powerful power supply is necessary.
2. I use Windows, and installed the driver. The OS can recognize both mics and speakers, and mics work perfectly.
3. Sure, attached is the photos of the wiring, power supply and speakers.

Is there any LED that would turn on when the amplifier is enabled? Is there an order of plugging in the USB cable and the power cable?

Thanks!

It turns out that I turned the screws on the amplifier output in an opposite direction. Now the problem has been solved. Thanks!
