Hi, I am enjoying the U-DIO8 so far for my mastering work
As well as monitoring my main output, I can loop a stereo signal out and back through Lavry DAC/ADC all using AES/EBU.
I am however not used to AES gear that doesn't support external clocking or wordclock.
Am I to understand that on the inputs I can leave my AD converter on internal clock and the SRC will sort out this lack of clocking?
I am concerned that there might be jitter or clocking instability by relying on SRC.
Is this product suitable for mastering and can I be confident that the inputs are accurate?

@tonmeister

Glad to hear that you're enjoying your UDIO8.. :-)
Unfortunately there isn't a way to turn off the SRC on this unit. It would require a major redesign of hardware/software to allow external clocking I'm afraid. The onboard SRC is of very good quality and already used in a lot of studio gear.. You are in good hands. :-)
