Hi.
Does the UDIO-8 have real time no latency monitoring?

In other words, can I monitor the digital outputs, while recording the digital inputs at the same time?

Many Thanks,
Wyatt

@ Wyatt
Unfortunately not sure what you mean but we don't perform "real time monitoring". The driver is as per the manual.
Latency for windows will be based on the ASIO buffer size. On 0Sx, the OS decides for you the latency. :-)

Hi,

I am very interested by the latency of the Udio-8 also.
I see in the description of the product that it's and ideal solution for live sound, amongst others.

I am a live sound engineer and was wondering if the latency would be low enough for me to use the Udio-8 to insert plugins on channels, using a tool such as Audiostrom's "Live Professor" (audiostrom.com/)

Thank you very much, hope to hear from you soon !

@artouros

Latency will depend on the setting you have under ASIO. Please check out the user manual, there are few selections for the "buffer" settings under the driver. Each samples adds some latency like any standard USB audio interface. Apart from that delay for USB audio transmission, the UDIO8 doesn't add much latency.
