Hi can I use a USB power unit like Schiit Wyrd to power the UDAC-8 and not connect your included wall-wart power supply?
Thanks

Hi, the U-DAC8 has a round DC connector, it's not powered from the USB port. (Well, the actual USB interface might be, I'm not sure, but the USB port doesn't power the whole DAC.)

Like John just said. :-) The UDAC8 needs the external 5V supply. Please check the user manual, lots of good info explained.
