Does the Udac 8 support 192 when all 8 channels are used.. I know some pro gear the more channels the less resolution supported.
Also , I'm thinking of using Channel D's Pure Music player (Mac product very similar to jriver, etc) which has crossover channel assignment... Their only requirement is that the audio interface device is driverless... I assume the u dac8 will work. Has anyone tested it with Pure Music?

Hello,

yes it indeed does support 192kHz on all channels. UDAC8 is driverless for Mac (i..e part of OS audio class) so I don't see any reasons for some issues with it.
So far, we haven't heard of a software unsupported for the UDAC8 for that exact same reason.

Yes, there are indeed power on/off mute circuits on the UDAC8/miniDAC8.
