Hi everyone.  I had retired from speaker building until miniDSP came around and I restarted my hobby to see what I could do with the technology.  I was an early purchaser of the 4x10 kit and I have attached a picture of my current rig.  I am using 9 of the 10 channels.  Four for each of the towers and one for the subwoofer.  Each piece is made from heavily damped and tuned 1/4 plate steel.  Each tower and the subwoofer way about 270 Lbs.  I can run first order Butterworth filters for perfect phase, or switch to 4th order LR if I need all the volume.  Live music levels no problem. Modified Adcom amps for all channels except ICE on the subwoofer.

Here is the question:  The 4x10 is now legacy.  If it were to fail (or frankly if I just wanted to upgrade), what is the right solution going forward?  It appears that the only miniDSP product with enough channels is the automobile product.  I could fashion a 12v supply and try to fit that into a rack box, but that doesn't seem great.  Could I daisy chain Flex products?  Use a Flex with digital out to split off the sub and then pass one digital lead to a Flex 8 for the towers?  Seem like this could work, but not sure how you would handle the volume control on that.

I think what I really need is a Flex10.  Any chance you are going to make one of those?

Thanks,  -Hayne
