Hello,
in this moment my pro external audio interface (it's a mixer) is connected via usb to my htpc.
I'd like to remove the htpc and use a simple BD player directly with usb interface.
I don't want to convert the signal to analog before enter in the Mixer (HDMI -> I2S -> DAC -> Analog in on Mixer)
I also don't want to use htpc as gateway (BD HDMI -> HTPC HDMI Input board -> USB Audio interface)

Is it possible with miniDSP boards to extract audio from HDMI and convert it to USB Audio directly? Or it's impossible? or there are a lot of delay problems?
Of course I mean decoded audio.

I thought also to use optical output instead of HDMI, but I can't understand if it's possible with minidsp boards (I need only 6 channels)

Thanks
Elia

@ Elia

We fully understand your requirement, unfortunately we don't have such board. There might also be some limitations about how DHCP/copyright protection works... Could be wrong..

Sorry we don't have anything we can help for here. :-(
