I'm confused, I ordered my minidsp 2x4 HD from an authorized dealer and it will arrive tomorrow.

Does it come with a coupon for downloading the plug in or do I have to separately purchase the plug in?

That's correct, it will indeed come with a coupon code if it comes from a dealer.
