Hi All,
Has anyone been able to sucessfully use the "factory_rest" file to try and get Volumio working?
I downloaded and noticed it only contained a txt and was 13kb
I have tried a number of times but the unit does nothing.
The USB does seem to signal by a flashing LED when turned on?

Actually think I will go back to my reliable 2X4HD.
Also the new device console has bugs.

Be glad if someone has had sucess?

For info. I know the file is tiny as it's just a line of text that gives a reset command. I've not tried using it myself though.

            As with my previous post, theres not a lot you can advise or do with a simple process of copying a file to a freshly formatted USB and turning on the unit.
There seems to be an issue I think with the USB size and a partition (guild) type that could be an issue.
Ive spent a whole evening trying all manner of combinations of USB, formatted type (FAT32) to get this to reset but to no avail.
I actually felt like just not using the SHD and putting it back in its box. That's how frustrated I was and why people who are in the same predicament get when a simple procedure does not always work.

miniDSP support will have additional options at their disposal to fix your problem though.
