Hi All,
I have a Spotify family account which I have been using well.
Having just installed the network to access Volumio on my new SHD, after installing the Spotify app (yes there are two and I installed the second version for premium or family)
Spotify is not shown in the home screen or the media icon?
I have done a full factory reset of Volumio.

I see there have been problems with Volumio but that is fine, can play internet radio etc.
Its just getting the Spotify app to work in Volumio.
Hope some else has had the problem and a fix.

Did you activate the app after installing it? I'd suggest using Spotify Connect rather than Volumio for Spotify once it's working, which would render it moot whether the icon shows in Volumio or not, although if it doesn't Connect probably won't work.

Oh, and I think it should be on by default but check at the bottom of the Volumio My Music section that the Spotify option is set to be displayed.

I will "fiddle about" with the streaming side of the SHD but really will just use the Mac to play audio using digital in.
Its a big ask for three independant companies software all works together without any problems.
Im just glad I can play music.
