Hi all! Happy new owner of a SHD Studio here.
Say, I was wondering if it's possible to get access to the device via the new Device Control app through network/rj45 instead of USB.
I can see in the device console login page that the mention "searching for your devices on USB/Network" is there, but it only finds my device and lets me access it IF the connection is USB, not RJ45.
I should mention that both Volumio and Dirac find the SHD Studio on the network on the allocated IP, but not Device Console.
Weird....
It would be very helpful to get this working, as I'm implementing an active fitering system and getting this right will involve making live adjutments from a distance (where getting tethered to the uinit via a 10m USB will not be adequate).
thanx in, advance for any info!

Mikael

In order for the various devices to communicate with each other, you first have to configure them in the same range of IP addresses allowed by the subnet mask. Visit Here

Okay... is this a ChatGPT answer or something?
Of course the devices' IPs are on the same subnet. Static IPs as well (no dhcp). Volumio has no trouble finding the device.
Also, why is there an external link in your anwer, pointing to some unrelated content?
I may be mistaken, but this answer doesnt "smell" legit...

Unfortunately I believe network control of the SHD setup is only possibly using a WI-DG, and this is what the 'network' reference you've seen relates to.
