I am trying to use miniDSP Device Console (ver 1.1.6) but w/o success. It seems that the USB driver to connect to my SHD is not installed (even after a couple of re-installations of the miniDSP Audio Class 2 Driver (v 5.57.0).

When I look into the UAC2 Control Panel - no driver shows up:

Any ideas how to fix this?

I am having the same problem. I run miniDSP Device Console (ver 1.1.6), go to Settings and click on "Check USB Audio Driver." The program checks, then reports, "A newer version of UAC-2 5.57.0.0 is available (Currently installed version File Not Found.. Install UAC2 Driver?". I click "Proceed," and the installation starts a message, "miniDSP USB Audio Class2 Driver v5.57.0 is already installed on your computer."

Even if I try reinstalling the driver, the same thing happens again. It seems that Device Console does not see the driver and therefore can't communicate with my miniDSP 2x4 HD.

I'm running on Windows 11 Home, Version 22H2, OS Build 22621.1992, Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22644.1000.0

Any solutions or ideas?

In my case, it turned out that I didn't need the special driver. The drivers included with Windows 11 were sufficient for my computer to be able to see the miniDSP 2x4HD.

Thank you @Zedly it was helpful.

As you said before, Windows 11 seems to be able to recognise the dsp by itself, without the driver. So, the driver thing is not the issue. I suspect of a USB chipset compatibility issue, but I'm only guessing

In my case the sollution was using a different computer and it worked perfectly without installing any driver. In the system tray, if you placer the cursor over the speaker icon you can easily check if de DSP is recognized.

In the first computer in two o of the usb connector, connecting the usb had no response. In the usb connector only sometimes the DSP connects a disconects constanstly. It looks like something poorly connected, but it is not the case, as I tripled checked connections, cables, and doesn't happen when I connect it to my secondary computer.

So, my advice: try connecting the DSP to the different usb connectors in your computer, or try with a different computer.
