After you activate Qobuz on SHD Volumio, you can select My playlists but it doesn't allow you to select which album in the Qobuz folder you want to play.  Instead it plays all the tracks in the folder starting with the first album.  Maybe that's because in Qobuz, a playlist can be either a collection of tracks or a collection of albums.  The native Qobuz web app allows you to access each album.  Volumio SHD allows you to access only the tracks.  If you have lots of albums in one folder, you have no way to access one specific album.  That's a problem for all the Qobuz users who store albums in their playlists.

Has anyone found a work-around for this problem?  Does the dev team have a fix coming?

thanks,
Tom

I think the best you can do is use the favourite albums feature. I wish there was a way to categorise albums though. Even being able to filter by genre would be a good addition that is sadly lacking in Volumio.

Thanks Ultrasonic, understood.  Not scaleable of course when you have hundreds of albums.
My current work-around is to use the Qobuz interface in Audirvana [edit: which organizes tracks into albums, unlike Volumio or the Qobuz web app.
Too bad, seems like a reasonable requirement that the Volumio UI for Qobuz matches the capabilities of the Qobuz web app in essential functions, like Audirvana does for example.

This is a feature that I am looking for. The only possibility to collect albums that I know is the favorite album list. When adding an album to a playlist it is not added as album but instead all tracks of the album are added each. Am I missing a trick to do this?

Apologies gbr, my mistake.  Audirvana (original version) does organize tracks into albums when you add albums to playlists but the Qobuz web app does not.  When you add an album to a playlist in the Qobuz app, it simply adds the album's tracks at the bottom of the list.  I just edited my previous post.
However the Qobuz app does give you more playback flexibility by allowing you to select any track in the playlist.  Volumio does not give you that option.  When you play a Qobuz playlist in Volumio, it always starts playing the first track on the list.
cheers, Tom
