Good day all,

Just a question.
I have replaced my existing Synology NAS for a new Synology NAS.
I deleted the existing (NFS) network connection to the old nas and created a new one also based on NFS. (NFS is enabled on the nas. NFS authorization is assigned to the ip address of the SHD)
The network status is connected, but no new music database is created. At the top right of the screen I do get a pop up reporting that a database is being created.

If I go to the network share via my laptop I can access all my music files as normal.

Any tips ?

NAS: Synology DS720+
SHD
Volumio verison: 1.125

Do you possibly just have to wait for it to finish this process?

Waiting did not change anything in the situation. The solution finally turned out to be a reboot of the NAS.
Presumably this was necessary to implement permissions settings. Normally this also works without a reboot.

Solved :-)
