Upon first time starting Dirac it puts a delay on one of the speakers after 1, measurement . I guess that this is done because there is a slight error in placing the speakers compared to one and antother. But, this delay is present even if Dirac is switched off(e.g no Dirac filter is choosen) or even when an empty slot is choosen. Why is the delay still present? Its not avaible to be adjustet either, its greyed out...

This has been asked before, and IIRC the answer was it's just something to do with how the SHD software is structured, and it's claimed to be not easy to fix.

There is now a way of turning off the delay processing within Dirac, so that might be a possible workaround.

In Dirac Live there is an option to not apply the delay and gain adjustment if you wish. You can do this when on the filter design tab, by clicking on the top-left icon (three lines in a circle) and then selecting Disable delay/gain.

The important question though is if if you really want to. The adjustments are made on the basis of what was measured at your central measurement location, which if you'd accurately positioned your microphone would be compensating for real differences. If you want to check the effect in isolation of what the rest of Dirac Live does you could use output delay and gain settings to cancel out any adjustments made by Dirac Live.

Possibly it would be useful context for me to say that for my last Dirac Live set of measurements the applied time delay was 0.03 ms and the amplitude adjustment -0.7 dB.
