I´m probably buying a miniDSP SHD.I’m trying to figure out were to start studying besides all the manuals, but to lead me in the right directions, I have some questions:
  • Am I able to use rePhase with it?
  • As I understand it are rePhase and Dirac Live both correcting phase using FIR. Is this correct?
  • If I use SHD as a cross-over filter in a 2-way system, will I be able to use the result from Dirac Live at the same time? And if Yes, how?
  • If I use SHD as a cross-over filter in a 2-way system, will I be able to use FIR filters? And if Yes, how?

FIR filters are not an option on the SHD models. miniDSPs can either have user configurable FIR filters or Dirac Live but not both (I believe since they both use the same DSP chip capability).

Yes you can use an SHD to provide a crossover and then run Dirac Live. Dirac Live just 'sees' the system as a whole.
