I have the Minidsp SHD and a Mano Ultra MK2 streamer. With the streamer SPDIF connected I hear a high noise on my listening position. Thats quiet loud. I do not hear it with f.e. a usb streamer. I used the same Mano streamer on different (pre)amps, without any noise. So it's the combination MANO <-> Minidsp SHD.

The noise is volume independent. When I mute the minidsp it's gone. When I mute the streamer, the high pitch noise is still there. I also bypassed volume control in the streamer. And I  tried different cables, connecting the streamer to anouther power-group. Even when I select other sources (USB, RCA, LAN) the high pitch noise is still audible. What can I do to solve this problem?

Could it be a problem with sample-rates? Is this a common problem with SPDIF streamers?

Besides, I think the unit itself is a bit noisy when I put my ear close to the tweeter (even though not audible at the listening position). I am used to Lyngorf and the NAD M33. Especially the Lyngdorf was dead silence. No soft humming sound at all.
