If you have Tidal, I would recommend trying to use the Tidal mobile app directly with SHD (see: docs.minidsp.com/product-manuals/shd-stu...ork-audio-tidal.html). At least in my case it works like a charm (in android). No more track jumping and no need to use the truly awful Volumio app anymore.

This is by far not a perfect solution, but with a bit of work you could get Logitech Media Server (LMS) and a squeezelite client to run on the minidsp. LMS is capable of installing tidal, qobuz, spotify etc. as plugins onto the system. Better would be to have the LMS run on a NAS or a separate Pi or PC,...
You can't use the native apps for controlling the plugins (maybe there is a way - I don't know) but you could use Squeezer (Android) for controlling LMS.
I'm using Qobuz a few month now, without any problems. Before I used Tidal, but with the Tidal Plugin I couldn't get Hi-Res to play.

As for the LMS is let's say the Qobuz client that gets the music from the Qobuz servers and than streams the music as server into your network, you can connect as many Squeezelite Clients as you like at the same time.

It seems minidsp doesn't care about these problems... very sad.

just as a general interest, since when is running squeezelite directly running on MiniDSP SHD?

I know some years ago, it was not able to get the native squeezelite client running on the volumio OS from the MiniDSP SHD.

Unfortunatly you'll need SSH access to get it to work properly.
A mail to the devteam should get you the default credentials.

I have indeed tried that but didn't find it to work so well, it was all very slow reacting between the app and the SHD.

You can ask to get involved into the beta test for volumio 3? See www.minidsp.com/forum/announcements/21445-new-volumio3-in-beta Maybe this helps in the main problem of qobuz playback.

I installed volumio 3 as beta tester, but my Tidal connect and Spotify connect issues are not solved with that.

In terms of Qobuz my subscription ended shortly before the update was installed, so it might be interesting if this issue can be solved with the volumio 3 beta release.
