Same here, this is extremely annoying. And my understanding is that such bug was fixed by volumio in their frequent updates to their regular software. 

People have been complaining about this issue for months and minidsp still hasnt fixed it? It really an issue if you listening to songs that are 7 mins long and midway the software just skips to the next song on the queue. 

 

same here. Does it mean the problem is still not fixed?

I found this happened less often after updating to Volumio 1.125 than the previous version but it does still happen occasionally.

Is this probably connected with using an old Playlist of yours?

just curious.

I'm using Qobuz with LMS + squeezelite since 2 weeks or so. Haven't had an issue with playback. Of course it's another software...

I actually don't think the issue relates to playlists (and definitely not old ones), since I've had this issue just playing full albums. Although I suppose when you select play on an album what it does is add all the tracks to the main playlist.

I hardly ever use playlists of tracks from lots of different albums.

I’m at my wits end.  It happens way too much. I’m done with Qobuz and Volumio.

What version of Volumio are you using? As I posted above this issue now only happens rarely for me since being on the latest version - maybe one track affected per ten albums sort of frequency?

I am running latest volumio for MiniDSP and latest Firmware, the problem still exists.

Even more, on almost every 2nd song it skips here. This is unusable If you like to enjoy music. Very dissappointing, that this old issue is still not fixed.

Could you just confirm what the Volumio version number you are running is please?

the "latest" is 1.125. And I think thats the core problem. Volumio version on MiniDSP is way behind the "standalone" Volumio which is 3.xzy...

I have volumio on another device with version 3.xxx and have no Qobuz problems there.

As Qobuz has no connect feature as Tidal or spotify, it is completly unusable for me on MiniDSP.

I am thinking about selling the minidsp because of this issue and the fact and this issue is not gonna be solved so far. It exists now for 8 month.....

You can't judge how up to date Volumio is based on version numbers like that due to the bespoke version of Volumio on the SHD series. That said the experience you're having is obviously not acceptable. Possibly its coincidental that my own qobuz experience seemed to be better after the last update. Earlier in this thread you'll see mention to a fix for this being worked on. If I were in your position I'd contact miniDSP support via the link at the top of the page to stress quite how bad the issue is for you and to see if any more info. on a likely fix could be given.

I did contact them, but never received a solution for that.

That's why i am so dissapointed and thinking about selling the device.

As a workaround it might help to install bubble upnp server on a NAS or a PC, make it a proxy for the SHD and use the linn app to play qobuz tracks.
