More often than I can bear (many tines times per day, sometimes every 6-8 songs), while playing a song from a Qobuz playlist (in the middle of the song), Volumio will skip ahead to the next song. I have Volumio version 3.3 running on a raspberry pi .. it's wonderful, runs without errors, and a much nicer interface. Minidsp is using the OEM version of Volumio, version 1.1 which is an old version that's not being updated by volumio SW development. No idea why they don't move up to a newer version.

This isn't true. There is a bespoke version of Volumio produced for the SHDs, which has been updated several times in it's life. It's not the same as the latest version of Volumio, but nor is it a really old version that has never been changed.

Regarding the Qobuz issue, have people raised this with miniDSP support?

Hi, Michelangelo from Volumio here.

We have been notified about this issue and are looking into it as we speak.

One clarification: MiniDSP line of products uses our Volumio OEM Solution: a bespoke build of Volumio which we manage with the help of MiniDSP Team. You're getting the latest and greates features after they have been declared stable, so this is why there's about 6 months delta from ordinary Volumio images. But rest assured, this software is constantly being updated and improved.

I have been noticing the issue more myself actually and so like you really hope a solution can be progressed soon.

I am streaming via a lumin U1 mini and having no such problems yet. But with the qobuz web player play.qobuz.com I had similar problems in the last weeks. A playing track suddenly interrupts and you get an error message. If this happened once with a track, it will keep interrupting at the same track time it seems. Also others reported having this problem with none minidsp hardware. So the question is if it is a volumio or a qobuz problem.

I recently got this from the dev. team. I’m having a skipping forward problem with an SHD and seemingly Qubuz only.

thanks for the update on this. We're just waiting from Volumio team who seem to be onto something on how to solve this issue for Qobuz.
As expected, nothing related to Volumio in this case. Qobuz just modified their CDN services lately (how files are stored worldwide) and it broke a LOT of things... :-

Can it be confirmed that the issue is present only when using Qobuz? I'm starting to be ready to switch to Tidal if it serves as a workaround.
