I have three questions:
#1  What purpose does the invert portion serve in the output section?
#2 When configuring the SHD is it necessary to set the current Config to USB or is simply connecting the USB cable from computer to the SHD sufficient?
#3 On the configuration page at the top right is a connect button with a mute button beside, below are three blocks (IP Address. Auto, and Master Volume Off/On), and beneath this two blocks (Start Dirac Live Software and Direct Live Off/On) .My SHD is hard wired to my router with an ethernet cable,  If I am configuring two full range speakers for stereo, after I have set the input and outputs, do I only depress the connect button and then the Start Dirac Live Software button? Or is there some other interim step(s) that is needed?

1) It inverts the output polarity, which may be useful in crossover regions.
2) For configuration it doesn't make any difference what input you have selected.
3) You don't need to click on the Connect button, just the Start Dirac Live button if the latter is what you want. The IP Address bit is only relevant if you're using a WI-DG.
