Been years since i last owned a real stereo system, so i could use some advice.

Put together a Nice system with pi7 cornerhorns, yamaha pro amp and a minidsp shd.

next for me is figuring out which streaming service to spend my money on.  Needs to be Well integrated with the built in volumio, ease of use currently tops everything else.

advice is greatly appriciated.

If ease of use really does trump everything else then Spotify via Sportify Connect is the way to go. You'll need to install an optional Volumio plugin but after that you won't need to directly interact with Volumio at all.

If sound quality becomes a higher priority then I'd suggest Qobuz instead, if it's available where you live.

You can probably get Spotify Premium free for something like a month to try it out and make up your own mind. You can in the UK right now (where I live) but you'll have to check for wherever you are.
