Hi.
I'm looking to get a miniDSP SHD but I don't have the room for it placing it flat on a desk/unit.  Can the miniDSP SHD be placed vertically if it is carefully and securely fixed/supported?
Thanks.

As long as you don't block the chassis' ventilation holes I don't see why you couldn't.

The SHD comes with rack mount. Have you considered mounting it to the underside of your desk?

Thanks for your replies.  I don't have a desk in this room  -  a small living room with 2 armchairs, 1 sofa and my active speakers on stands. I'm likely going to opt for the SHD Studio and buy a dedicated DAC  -  the smaller footprint of these, stacked, means I could accommodate them.  Thanks for your help.
