I m trying out Qobuz on shd-studio and I cant get it to work in Volumio.  I logged in Qobuz in the sources menu I see that Qobuz is doing it's thing on the progress bar like it's going to log in but then at the end nothing happens.
Where is the qobuz supposed to be?  I have Spotify app installed and running: do these two fight with each other or something?
thanks

What you're doing should work. Once you've successfully logged into Qobuz you should get a Qobuz shortcut on the Volumio home screen, and a text QOBUZ link on the left. If you think you've logged in OK but don't see these then go back to My Music and scroll down to the Sources Visibility section. The Qobuz option shoud be set to On.

Making absolutely certain that you're entering the correct login details for Qobuz is what I'd be checking if you still have issues.

BINGO!
Actually I had to use my email instead of my username. Such silly problem!
I wish there was a way to separate the VOLUMIO searches into qobuz and spotify specific searches.

Actually in the course of this operation I updated the volumio program and I found some weird behavior.  The overall interface is much better I can now actually make a playlist which I wasn't able to do before!  I still didin't explore the full functionalities but it appears I lost the volume control bar.  The new volume bar slides but nothing happens. It seems to be set to 0/100. Anyone know how to make that work?
Then another thing that happen is that I went to the input menu and I see 4 inputs plugs but not the LAN so when I started clicking around the player got into some funky state and stopped playing. I had to go back to the remote set it back to LAN and only after repeated cursing and clicking I was able to bring it back. Still don't know exactly how I did it.

What version of Volumio are you running? I'm on 1.099 and there is still a volume slider, but I think later SHD builds may use a slightly different version. I don't use the volume slider though as it can only actually change the volume in steps of 5 of it's scale values, which is too course. I use the remote control instead.

On the point about not having a LAN input to select, I'd say there is no need. As soon as you start playing anything from Qobuz it automatically jumps to this input.

In case you don't realise and it helps more generally, note that you can use the plugin to change what inputs are cycled through on the remote control so that you don't waste time going past inputs you never use.

What happens if you select Qobuz before doing the search? I don't have Spotify as well to test but it excludes web radio results if I do this so possibly it would exclude Spotify too.

Maybe it is a caching problem of the browser? Either try to click the reload button while pressing shift, or try to clear the browser cache in the settings?

I may be wrong but I suspect it is intentional when searching at the top level, with the idea it searches for music across all available sources. Including locally stroed files if relevant I assume.

Version? I don't know and I looked! Including an 'About' somewhere would be nice. lol BUT I updated yesterday so I am guessing it is whatever the most recent is.
The volume bar is inactivated somehow, I mean it slides and everything the number go up and but nothing happens on the player. Only volume control I have is on the remote which I don't like much.  I could only find a volume normalization on/off in the controls.  I don't know what that does but is set to off. That's all that pertains to volume settings. Everything else about this new interface is a very big improvement but I hope they get that Volume fixed.   Is anyone in contact with the guys at Volumio?
BTW I am using firefox on Mac.'

Ops found it! V1.099!  Sorry

Can you just clarify what you mean by 'on the player' there? I think you mean that the volume indicated on your SHD, and that you hear, doesn't change but the way you phrased that just makes me wonder if I'm missing somethng here?

For me, changing the slider does change the SHD volume but so coarsely (about 6 dB increments!) that it's basically useless anyway. I'm using a Windows 10 laptop.

Did you only update the volumio version or is the SHD-Plugin and especially the SHD firmware also up to date? It is important to have all parts updated.

I connected to the SHD studio with the newest (v1.15) and refreshed the firmware. It has not produced any changes to the volume issue.

A last thing. I am not sure what it is good for, but it is recommended to do after an update: To update the (IIRC) DSP code from inside the plugin software. There is a menu item for this.
