Hi!
I use the MiniDSP SHD studio together with my Hegel amplifier, and it is pretty awsome! Now, I want to use the SHD to switch between two digital inputs using the "Dac input" button on the Hegel remote. But with the Hegel remote, the IR remote learning doesn't work, how frustrating!

Can I ask why there is a strange limitation on which brands are supported? With the Bluesound Node for instance, any remote control can be used. NEC, Sony, Philips RC6 and Old Apple is  pretty narrow list. Is it possible to fix this?

Most likely that it's indeed a remote that just isn't supported. We only support NEC/SONY/RC5 and apple. You can always use another universal remote maybe to control both products? 
We can't add other protocols I'm afraid.

Thanks for good advice! This information may be useful to me for writing my course project in college, but I am still not confident in my abilities, because there is not much time left (

The internet gives codes for HegelHegel H95, H120, H190: RC-5 code table:

Guess that other models also use RC5 coding.
