I have a 2.2 system which as it stands I'm planning to use Dirac on mains & subs, through one of the digital XLR outputs, from the SHD Studio to my Audio GD dac. The subwoofers are going to be connected at the next stage of the chain to a dedicated Audio GD preamp.

I'd like to get the advantage of of using the other digital XLR output & inserting a second dac before the subwoofers. Does anyone have experience of choosing a dac well? One that performs well with the subs, is easy to integrate with the rest of the system & that is inexpensive.

eiv Offline Junior Member Posts: 22 Thank you received: 3	i have a similar setup, digital xlr to mains, but i use the spdif output with a coax cable(looks like rca) to my subwoofer dac, much more common in dac's. do not think the requirement for a subwoofer dac is very high. i use an arcam ir dac myself i had left over.
