Dear SHD users,

After an intense use of other Minidsp devices ( DDRC24 and OPENDRC-DI), I'm starting my experience with SHD.
The idea would be to use digital output to feed a dac for speakers, and analogue balanced outputs to drive a pair of powered subwoofer.
The issue is the standard of digital output: 24/96, which isn't supported by my old but beloved DAC ( an Accuphase DC91).
Any idea about a downsampling? I tried to change the settings in the Volumio app, in the section Resampling Audio, but i think it doesn't affect the rate of the digital outputs.

Thanks in advance!

Massimo

Hi Massimo,

did you try how it sounds with only using the SHD without the external DAC? The SHD´s sound quality is said to be very good.

AFAIK you cannot change the output format. It is always 96/24. So the only chance will be to use either another external DAC or a device between the SHD and the DAC for convertion.
