I searched my Qobuz settings page but no mention of attached devices or any of that sort...
Accessing the Qubus music not "in parallel" just to prevent a situation like this.
But thanks for thinking along.

I now also have the App, but this also won't play through the DSP, it finds my DSP, and my receiver. It will play nicely with the receiver, but also NOT with the DSP...;-(
Playing spotify does work strangely.......

I contacted support and sent them my issue, waiting for assistance....

I searched my Qobuz settings page but no mention of attached devices or any of that sort...

Oh sorry, it seems this information was removed from the account/subscribe-pages in qobuz. I cannot find it anymore either. Maybe it is not required (I never had to remove a device from this list though using qobuz on different browsers and machines - but not at the same time).

I am using BubbleUPnPServer (installed on my Synology NAS), too. This works fine. You can use the apps BubbleUPnP, Linn (kazoo) and lumin to browse and play qobuz. Unfortunately the openhome support that is build into volumio is not capable of playing qobuz by using these apps.

But playing it via the volumio GUI should work. I really wonder what could be the problem in your case.

If you insert a wrong password in volumio for qobuz how does the system behave? Does it report back that login failed? I wonder if perhaps you have some strange special characters in your password that are handled wrong by volumio so it cannot log in? (german umlauts, etc)

As you can play music from qobuz on your phone with the BubbleUPnP app (did you try playing tracks longer than only 30 seconds?) your qobuz account seems to be fine.

Is your SHD connected by wire or wifi? Maybe there is some network device on its way that does not forward the stream somehow? Is it connected the same way as your receiver?

Changes my Password to only "normal"characters, doesn't make a difference. If I put in a wrong password, the interface will not proceed to the settings, so that's "working as it should".

Playing BubblePnP longer than 30s via my receiver is no problem.

All connected via wire via the same switch (not fond of wireless for this sort of equiptment...). Also disabled my firewall to see if that's blocking something.

Hmm...

Do you have any plugin installed or some setting done that interferes with qobuz playing?

Plugins I have installed and activated:
spotify
radio paradise

Functions (Sources) I have activated: All but "Roon Ready".

qobuz settings:
Sound quality: highest
Number of search results: 100

Sources displayed as Icons on the start page: all

What really makes me wonder that playing via the BubbleUpnp app does not work. Do you have random play in the playlist activated? maybe something like this is a problem?

I am running out of ideas...

I am out of ideas too...

Had the Spotify Plugin installes before, that worked.
But no plugins at the moment, I did a complete reset and fw update after that...

BUT !! BubblePnP seems to work now via the DSP !! So One little problem to go...

Just don't ask what I did... only changed the number of search result from 10 to 100 ....

Well, There is an update..

Support mentioned it may be caused by a not paid membership of Qubuz, was still in trial-mode..
Strange, but technically possible...

Today I saw there was an update for Volumio (ver. 1.076), great! So I updated the SHD and tried again... now with a paid Qobuz account.
Qobuz says that I am logged in via de SHD interface, so that's great. (ver. 1.076)

But when I want to enter the Qobuz Page it popups red with the "Error, No results".

Tried it with my wired connection, disabled firewall, disabled PFblockerNG, even tried it wireless via my Mobile as hotspot, all not having a effect....

Somebody else having an Idea where to look?? Completely out of options now..

Did you ask the qobuz support? Maybe they know about such a problem and have a solution.

Wanted to let you know that my problem seems to be solved.....

Today I tried the SHD again, disabled my VPN connection on my laptop (local), and tadaa, it worked....
(The SHD is NOT connected via VPN). First thought that that would be the issue, but it's not.

Enabled my VPN on my laptop again, and it still works..
The only thing I changed a day before was disabling and enabling my firewall rules again for something else, so I assume the issue was (or is...) in my firewall.
(I already did this 'trick" before, when I first ran into this problem, but then it would'nt do anything..).

So, when anybody else gets "my" problem.... this is probably a clue where to search for solutions.

Thanks all, for all your replies!

And here I go again,

Installed the update so that my remote would work as it should, so I updated to the 1.29 version with the 1.094 Volumio version...
And guess what?? I cannot get Quboz working AGAIN!! Disabled my network-Firewall-settings again, because I thought that was the issue the first time. Did a few reset and restore actions, but it does not help.

I can get the Quboz menu available in the Volumio interface, but when I select it, it just answers with "ERROR - No results"... And thats it.
Will try to Downgrade the SHD, if anybody has any idea left??

Now I am in the mood to shout out "what a piece of shit" ....

Hi badgast,

I think the problem must be in your network configuration somehow. Otherwise there would be many other people complaining about this issue.

Maybe the firewall has to be deactivated while starting volumio or while entering the qobuz account data? Or are you using a special DNS in your network settings that offers a wrong IP address?

No, I do not really have an idea.

Kind regards,
Gert

@Gert,

It seems it has to be because apperently I am the only one on this planet who has this issue.. ;-) ;-(
I have around 80 devices connected in my network, and this is the only unit that gives me this "shit". No Vlans, no other specific network-settings, except for Pfblocker, which I have disabled for this cause...

I will keep searching and keep you up-to-date, but any ideas are more than welcome.

ps. I did not notify the MiniDSP support yet,

ITS WORKING AGAIN!

Do not ask, rebooted my Switch (D-Link 8p Web Smart switch) and changed my DNS in the SHD and in my Firewall (DHCP) and tadaaa...
And I'am not going to search what exactly caused this issue, for the second time....
The other equiptment on that same switch just works as it should, and always has.

Well, I will report back again on the next update I assume... ;-)
