Hello Everybody,

I got my SHD in yesterday, hooked it up by COAX to my DAC.
I also hooked up an external Hard Disk and let Volumio index the music.

Now everytime I start to play music with Volumio, the SHD is switched to output to LAN.
When I set the output back to COAX, volumio has stopped the music. So I start eh music again, Volumio switches back to LAN, etc, etc,

Is this normal behavior? In this way, one can only use the unit for streaming and not as a stand alone player, not what I was looking for.

Any advice is welcome, many thanks in advance.

Are you trying to start playback from your coax input using Volumio? That's not how it works if your are. Once the coax input is selected start playback on whatever is connected to this input instead.

Edit: and for reassurance you definitely can do what you want. I regularly using analogue and digital inputs on my SHD, not just as a streamer.

HAHA my fault, mixed up the input and output connections standing from the front side.

I have got music from the player now, crisis averted
