Dear all,

I am hoping to set up my new SHD studio in the next month or so (after moving flat). I wondered whether it is possible to route both left channels (high and low passed) to one coax out and both right channels to the other, then send the (normally) left and right signals from each DAC as high-passed/low-passed signals for amplification?

So:
SHD Out 1&2->DAC1 Stereo In
DAC1 "Left" Out->Left High-Pass Amp In
DAC1 "Right" Out->Left Low-Pass Amp In

and
SHD Out 3&4->DAC2 Stereo In
DAC2 "Left" Out->Right High-Pass Amp
DAC2 "Right" Out->Right Low-Pass Amp

It seems like a supported use-case from the manual section to do with the Dirac/Crossover routing matrix, but assumptions have not served me particularly well in the past. The reason I'm asking, not just doing, is because I'm trying to work out the cabling arrangements in advance of moving flat (and trying to minimise the number of cables criss-crossing), and all my things are currently sitting in boxes ready to move in a couple of weeks.

Many thanks,

Sasha.

Sure. The routing matrix will allow any configuration you want.
