I have rebooted the Roon Server, Factory Reset the SHD, Roon Bridge Un-installed, Roon Ready On on Volumio, v1.111 Volumio, NO GO! argh!

Good News! The giant red button been pressed on Roon Side.. ;-) Please reboot Roon, it should work. At least it does on our side. :-) Thanks for your patience, DevTeam

wooo hooo! Roon Server reset again and works fine now!
Question: if I Factory Reset on the Volumio side, it shouldn't reset the filters I saved for DIRAC, correct?

surfsnow - resetting on the Volumio side only affects Volumio. It won't mess with Dirac filters.

Confirmed! Just restarted the Roon Server process again and we're now officially certified!

Just curious: For those who made the cut-off and have been using the SHD as a grandfathered uncertified unit all this time. Is there any kind of improvement (even theoretical) to now being officially certified?

Oh wow, you are right! It can skip previous/next and pause. Strangely enough play doesn't work, it will pause, but not resume.

Indeed, play/resume does not seem to work. Pressing previous or next does trigger play, though.

Is it normal for the SHD to be using DSP volume now after the Roon Ready update? It was not showing before when using the uncertified workaround

Yes, it is. SHD does not have an analog volume control. To my knowledge, it applies volume in the digital domain (32 bits). It's just visible now, since Roon shows the full signal path for "ready" devices. Personally, I wish Roon could delegate volume leveling to the SHD. I rather have a dedicated DSP doing that.

Just looking at the ROON signal path display, it shows DSP volume being applied post the MiniDSP.  Doesn’t this suggest volume is being managed by the MiniDSP not ROON?  Furthermore changing the volume on the MiniDSP affects the display within ROON when volume is set to fixed within ROON itself.

@Stouthart  Not a big user of Volume leveling myself, but you're right, it should be applied within the MiniDSP
