Stock Volumio has an API, described here: volumio.github.io/docs/API/API_Overview.html

Does the miniDSP version have the same WebSocket or REST API? REST API preferred.

It seems the Volumio WebUI mostly uses the WebSocket API so I guess it has to support that,
