VintageRider Offline New Member Posts: 12 Thank you received: 6	I was able to connect an external USB CD-R drive, and play and RIP a CD to the internal memory of the SHD. MiniDSP should definitely provide more information about this as I don't even know how much internal memory the SHD has.

Wow had I known that I probably would have bought a SHD rather than DDRC24.

Having said that, I ripped all my CDs using EAC which checks for rip accuracy, is there any error checking done on the SHD?

Can you choose the format it’s ripped to?

Also, how do you move the rip from the CD to your NAS? Can you define the default storage location as somewhere on your network rather than the SHD?

Do you have any option to change where the file is ripped to or to moved it after it has been ripped, in both cases to some form of internal storage?

I'm sure the internal storage will be pretty tiny, as it's intended purpose is for the OS/Volumio rather than data storage.
