I just got a new Windows 10 laptop to run Dirac Live 3 and SHD Plug in. I was able to run and create Dirac project and generate a target curve, but I do wonder about the purpose of the pop up screen asking that you log in to a Dirac Account.

What purpose does it serve? As far as I can tell, I am still able to save Projects and Target Curves locally on the laptop. I am confused about the warnings that "over time" I won't be able to access those projects without logging into my Dirac Account.

I went ahead and set up a Dirac account and saved my Project, but when I check my account page, I see nothing there - the Project is still locally stored with no indication in the account that it exist.

Can someone shed some light on this.

Just wondering, did you try loading them again (when not logged in)?

I did not try logging out and loading the saved project. I'll have to try that and see if my locally stored project files load. I was expecting to see some cloud type storage of the files in my account.
