I received it a few days ago and was writing it happily. But suddenly, SHD power did not turn on with the sound of'pop'. It also smelled burning. I wonder if there are other people who have had this?

I've never read of anybody else having a similar problem. Clearly its faulty, return it to whoever you bought it from.

I've never read of anybody else having a similar problem.


Neither have I but as they only started shipping these two weeks ago 'never' doesn't include much relevant time :) .
