Hi,
pretty easy, run the SHD in fullrange and use an external crossover.

Hi Chris,
Thank you for your suggestion, sorry, may I not talk enough detailed which I prefer to use Dirac live and XLR connection in the whole system.
Seem there is only one choice to use 2x4 miniDSP Balanced and separate set up as per below configuration. I don't know, how are the results. The best choice is miniDSP launch a new SHD 6CH analog output model for an audiophile user who wants to use Tri Amp.

Hi,
this is apossible way too, split the highs in SHD and then split the rest with a 2x4, but then you should use a digital way to the 2x4 to avoid double AD/DA conversion. Dirac always acts fullrange no matter whats behind the output of SHD. It takes the results from measuring the whole system in your room.

PS: Is your name top secret? I dont like to talk to a ghost.
PPS: Maybe the 4x10 with digital IO would solve your problem. Take the digital out of SHD to feed the 4x10.

Hi
Unfortunately, there is no digital input on 2*4 balanced.
if I buy an additional SHD and connect them via XLR digital out/in probably get the best result but the cost is too high.

Thanks

Is balanced connections to all 6 power amp channels your only option?

Everything else being equal, yes, but in this case I'd suggest you'd be better off avoiding the 2x4 Balanced as it's a lower quality unit. I've not done what you're considering to I'll leave others who have to comment further.

I'd go nanoDIGI with balanced DAC's.
