I have a SHD Studio here for testing. I had expected that the SHD does support the openhome standard. I this the case? Or do I have to enable it somehow?

If I play a track from the volumio web GUI, the Bubble UPnP app does see that a track is being played, but it does not recognize the track name. Also it does not show all tracks in the playlist but only the currently playing one. This should be different with a openhome device.

If I try to play a qobuz track from the Bubble UPnP app this results in an error "Attempt to read from field 'boolean com.bubblesoft.qobuz.QobuzClient$QobuzUserCredentialsParameters.lossless_streaming' on a null object reference". I do not know if this is related to the openhome topic or is another issue (I guess the latter).

Bubbleupnp works fine with me for more than a year now . Tidal as well as Qobuz. I had Bubbleupnp server running on my Synology Nas but I shut it down. Bubbleupnp works fine without it.

Thank you for your answer. This encouraged me to try some things. After stopping and restarting the bubble upnp app streaming from qobuz works now!? Strange. But ok, as long as it doesn't relapse.

But the playlists for openhome and the web GUI are separated. So I have two playlists. Strange, but ok, as I think I would not use the web GUI (nor LMS way).

I use Tidal nowadays. But it should work the same with Qobuz. I make favourite tracks, albums and playlists in the Tidal app (or on computer). Bubbleupnp can play the Tidal favourites and playlists.

You can also make playlists in Bubbleupnp "virtual folders" with Tidal and Qobuz tracks but in the long run they get broken.

The bubble UPnP app does work really fine. But I had the hope that the iOS apps like lumin or linn kazoo do work as well. But they do not:

lumin: You can choose the SHD as player. But no qobuz icon is shown. Instead an internet radio button occurs. But I cannot play anything. Even from my local NAS (minimserver) nothing can be played.

linn/kazoo (the old black app): does not find the SHD at all.

linn/kazoo (the new white app): Can find the SHD. I can play tracks from my NAS (via minimserver). But qobuz does not work. The app is missing support for this in the "linn streamer" and I am asked to update its firmware.

Is there any chance to fix this? If nothing helps I have to configure the bubble UPnP server for the SHD.

Or are there other solutions to stream from qobuz to the SHD on iOS?

ipeng currently does not work!? I do not know what the problem is. Shouldn't it? I can add a track to the playlist and start it to play. The track seems to start playing but nothing can be heared from it. Instead a track is sill being played that I have started from the volumio web GUI. But ipeng does not see this playlist nor vice versa. Confusing.

The bubble UPnP app does work really fine.

Unfortunately I have found one issue: If you add tracks too fast by tapping each track, they are often enqueued in the wrong order. E.g. first track two and second track one.

Does anybody else see this behaviour?

This issue is caused by upmpdcli being an OpenHome renderer, its OpenHome Qobuz support having being revoked, thus BubbleUPnP having to switch to its own Qobuz support and a bug to detect that.

Another fix to this issue is to upgrade to upmpdcli >= 1.4.9.

So this might be the reason why qobuz support in other apps is not enabled for the SHD? How can I check the currently used upmpdcli version used by the SHD volumio?

Does anybody have the following issues when using the Bubble UPnP app with a SHD device? (I write it here because it relates to the openhome connection I guess.)

1) When starting the first track a short stutter occurs. It sounds like the track starts to play for a fraction of a second, then pauses for a fraction of a second and then continues to play fine.

2) When quickly adding two tracks (tried it with tracks from qobuz) the order of these tracks in the playlist is reversed.

3) Yesterday something odd happened and I do not know why: Each track that was finished playing was automatically removed from the playlist in the Bubble UPnP app. Usually the tracks are being kept. Is there a setting for this somewhere that I accidentally have activated?

I'm using Bubbleupnp with SHD Studio. I don't recognise your problems.
Do you have the Bubbleupnp Server installed and running on your Nas?
If not, give it a try. If you do use Bubbleupnp Server disable it and see if that works better. In my system I have Bubbleupnp Server disabled.

I have read somewhere that this is a known bug with bubble UPnP. This only happens once. After restarting the app the error never occurs again.

Regarding issue 1) (stutter): I cannot reproduce this anymore. This is the reason why I did not report anything back here. Also issue 3) (track auto remove) did never happen again yet.

But issue 2) (wrong order) still occurs.
