Hi. Please don't flame me, I know I'm not using the SHD the way it was designed to be used and I know there's less expensive options to do this function.

I am using my SHD for the subs of my home theater. Only the sub signal passes through the SHD. I have some questions about how Dirac is integrated into the structure of the SHD.

If I have two subs and am using output 1 for the left and output 2 for the right, and matching the inputs, then the default routing should work?

If I use Dirac to tune each sub individually, how to I load the filters correctly so that the left sub's filters apply to the left sub and etc for the right? Is there any way to verify that the filters loaded correctly?

Unfortunately the Dirac version really used by am SHD really isn't designed to work with signals that don't cover the full frequency range. I think it won't work at all with Dirac v2 but think I've read you might be able to get somewhere with v1.

You don't want to EQ the subs individually though because if you do the sum you get when both are playing together won't be what you want. Note you also need to set the time delays for phase matching before you try to use Dirac.

Do you have long term plans to use your SHD for anything else? If not the best advice is for you to sell it and buy something a lot cheaoer.
