Maybe I have not searched enough, but which amp modules are used in SHD Power? Is the input digital (i2s or other) or first going through a DAC?

Sounds like a mix of shd studio, dac and ice power amps. I guess the digital input goes through dsp and then through a dac to power amps and analog output, so the signal will be resampled to 24/96 all the time since these are the values for the dsp.

My money would be on it being an ICE class D module but I can't find anything definitive quickly.

Interesting new product. I just hope the proximity of the power stage and at least partially common power supply doesn't compromise the performance.

I'm happy with my setup. The xtz power amps have the latest ice power modules and price with shd is only little more than shd power, and then you have an analog input for turntables.

Right, but not that much. Depends on how you declare Power vs. THD and how conservative you are.

I really can't understand miniDSP strategy. They propose probably a good product (case for all SHD products) but without choice to take or not DiracLive which represents at least half the price of the device. Result, : they loose 90% of buyers, those who couldn't afford such a high price or those who simply don't want Dirac Live like me. The same product, without Dirac, at half the price might sells 3 to 5 times more.

Please miniDSP, let us option to buy products with or without Dirac Live AND WITH FIR filters !

Yes, low TlHD figures which are close to the class of Purify's ones.

I am extremely doubtfull there will be a Purify amp inside this product, based on the price vs the other SHD products, and how much a bare 1ET400A board costs, it just seems imposible.

Agreed. Purifi modules are premium, the best measuring amps around. It would be a much higher price, as well as a feature they would be advertising front and center. Likely ICE power as mentioned, or a Hypex based solution similar to the 252MP.
I would think it will be revealed soon enough.

Interesting product for sure. Looking forward to hearing what amp they selected. 120wpc is a nice amount for most. Was hoping for NC400 or 252mp hypex. But probably doubtful with their familiarity with Iceppower. Nice all in one solution.
