Pretty sure. I got mine in december 2018 and I think, my firmware version is still 0.94 or something like that. I made up a ticket at minidsp support.

Setting the stuff up was a bit of non-straigthforward, I hope this is more reliable now. Indeed everything seems sto run stable now, but I got buzzing interference noise in my minidsp hd. Not sure if this is something, a firmware can fix.

In combination with the WI-DG or generally? It doesn't sound like something a firmware update would affect.

Only with wi-dg. But I got my doubt, if whetzer a firmware update can fix this, too. It would be just a try. Its getting quiet, if I place the wi-dg > 50 cm away from the other electronics. So I could live with that issue.

Given that the Wi-DG is a radio transmitter (and receiver) it should never be placed that close to delicate audio equipment. Since it connects to SHD over USB it can easily be several meters away with a long enough cable. The FCC Class B warning in the manual has other advice.

:-) would surely work. But instead of doing so, it might be a more straight deal (and much cheaper) to buy a long USB Cable and replace the Wi_DG....

Indeed, I sold mine and used two 5m cables with a hub in the middle to act as a repeater until I acquired a laptop to be near that SHD.

Note that radiation tends to fall off quickly so if 50cm helps, 100cm should help much more, 1000cm could solve the problem. Most standard USB cables are around 1.8m it seems.
Note also that USB cables are limited to 5m and not everybody had success with 5m cables but they work fine for me after a software update from the beginning of the year.
