I bought this SHD a few weeks ago but only just got to setting it up this weekend because I’ve been in the process of a move.

So as soon as I turn it on via Ethernet it instantly crashes my wireless router and I have no access to the internet. If I use the WIFI dongle I can access the shd for a few seconds and then it crashes and disconnects and says the “miniDSP SHD network cannot be found.

I’m running the latest version of Mac Catalina. I’ve been trying to just get this thing running for two days now. I can’t even turn it on without it crashing everything let alone try and diagnose anything.

Hi, I don't recall seeing this issue on the forum before.... perhaps it would be best to open a support ticket.

Just to confirm, when you connect by Ehternet, the Wifi dongle is not plugged in the back? What happens if you turn on the SHD first and then connect the Ethernet cable?

Well it turns out the ethernet switch was hooked up before the router. I changed the cables around and it works fine now. Modem, Router, Switch, Devices.
