Hi there

I am currently running a SHD and would like to connect a microphone in the most easy way. Any recommendations?

Thanks and best regards,
David

Hi David,

what do you want to do?
1. Get sound from the microphone to your system?
2. Do measurements for Dirac?

In case
1. Get a microphone preamp to lift the microphone to line level and attach it to analog input or, in case the preamp has an adc and digital outs, connect it to the matching digital input.
2. Connect the microphone, preferably a umik 1, to your computer and connect the computer to shd

In case of any doubt, read the manual

Hi Chris

Thanks for your quick reply - I wanna get sound from the mic to my system and hoped not needing a preamp.
Looks like I need this preamp.

Thanks and best regards,
David
