Hello again,
Which version of Volumio does SHD include? The free version? What are the added benefits to taking out the Virtuoso or Superstar subscriptions?
Syncing devices ok.
What about “native” Tidal and Qobuz integration... what does that mean? Does the free version not have Tidal et al?
Thanks

Hi, it's a custom version. You just enter your Tidal/Qobuz login/password, you don't need a Volumio subscription as well.

[Edit] See user manual page 31 :)

Hi John,
Yes I saw that in the manual but because other streamers on the marked allow you to do something similar, I assumed that was MiniDSP functionality rather than something bundled with Volumio.

You need a subscription to Tidal or Qobuz to enter your details correct? - MiniDSP haven’t struck a deal meaning free subscriptions for owner right? :-)

Does the bundled Volumio work add free?

Thanks

Hi again, yes you need to have a subscription with Tidal or Qobuz.

I don't recall seeing ads (if that is the question?). However I don't normally use the web interface.
