Hi there

I just updated the minidsp plugin for SHD to 1.8d2, firmware 1.10 and dirac live to the latest version 2.4 as I have terrible stability issues (dirac live constantly lost connection during the measurements). Now, I also intended to refresh the firmware but got the following error message "USB Audio Device Firmware Upgrade" - "The driver DLL required to access the device is missing". What do I have to do? May my stability problems be associated with that error message?

yep. my fault. I got it running on Windows default drivers. it's clearly not enought. After reinstalling driver all went well.

Yet another issue I see here. Though I use exclusive audio mode in Win10 Tidal App and ASIO driver in JRiver I can still adjust volume of playback in Windows master sound management. This seriously worries me. Is SHD USB driver piece of crap or am I doing somethings wrong?

entripy Offline Platinum Member Posts: 387 Thank you received: 130	Technically the driver is rather more than just an audio driver, it also supports firmware upgrade of the SHD. This is precisely why it needs to be installed to avoid firmware upgrade errors.
