So I was thinking of using this cable USB-C 3.1 to USB-B 2.0 male cabel Anyone using a cable like this?

entripy Offline Platinum Member Posts: 387 Thank you received: 130	Well, it uses just one pair of D+ and D- pins and requires a resistor on the CC pins before USB C will provide Vbus. In other words it reverts to USB 2 spec to be able to talk to the USB 2 SHD Device. So different connector, same spec. Looked at another way, USB C connectors have little benefit when connected to a USB 2 device, but at least they are backwards compatible.
