I am using a MBP 16 with only USB-C ports.

Right now I unable to connect to the SHD STUDIO using a small USB hub.
So I was thinking of using this cable USB-C 3.1 to USB-B 2.0 male cabel

Anyone using a cable like this?

Good idea, I got one of these for the UMIK-1, it seems to work OK altho haven't done a calibration yet

That is 3m, a 5m cable doesn't seem to work so well.

I still use a 5m USB 2.0 cable, it works fine after they fixed USB reliability.

Well, it uses just one pair of D+ and D- pins and requires a resistor on the CC pins before USB C will provide Vbus. In other words it reverts to USB 2 spec to be able to talk to the USB 2 SHD Device. So different connector, same spec. Looked at another way, USB C connectors have little benefit when connected to a USB 2 device, but at least they are backwards compatible.
