I have been going around in circles trying to get me SHD Studio to properly work when measuring my speakers. The SHD plays music from my server out to my DACs just fine. Going down from Dirac Live version 2.3 to 2.2.3 helped to where I finally got noise out to the speakers. When pressing the Right speaker choice, I get output from both speakers and when I press the Left speaker choice I get no noise. When I went in at a later time to try changes in the signal mixing part of the SHD suftware, the dammed thing froze up gain.

I was wondering if some knowledgeable person from the LA area might be willing to come up to Santa Barbara and straighten my setup out - and for a reasonable amount of pay.

Are you the" Bascom King". Because, with all due respect,(and I am totally not trying to be mean here) I find it hard to believe that an EE of your caliber, could not resolve this, or have sufficient access to alternatives ie. other professional colleagues that you could go to for help. I guess what I'm trying to say, I think perhaps you are not who you say you are. If I am wrong, I sincerely apologize, not trying to be purposely belligerent here. It's just that an individual Signing a request for help for an audio electronics component as Bascom H King, is similar to Dale Earnhardt Jr. Saying he needs help changing a tire. IF this is Bascom, I am sorry...I am not trying to ridicule anyone for asking for help....but you are a bit of a celebrity in your field, so I am just making sure it's you and not someone trying to impersonate BHK.

When in Dirac software don't use the volume knob on the SHD. That will cause a freeze. Use the sliders in the Dirac software only.
