Hi All,
First post so hello everyone!

Looking at purchasing, love the Dirac live and digital preamp/crossover potential of this unit!
Can the SHD/SHD studio (I assume theres no difference between the two in volume control) volume be;

1. Controlled by the volume rocker of a smartphone, e.g. if using Roon or Spotify
2. Set to a maximum limit to prevent the above smartphone volume pushing output to 0dbfs/max
3. Be IR learned to be controlled from a TV remote

My use case for this would be a stereo setup for TV watching, movies (so crossover to subwoofer) and spotify/roon/tidal connection for music listening during weekends. To make it easy for the rest of the family to use the TV remote controlling volume saves a lot of angst, the volume limiter would prevent young ones (or intoxicated ones) from blowing speakers, and the smartphone volume control is just icing on the cake really if we are listening to music out on the deck, out of IR remote range.

Hope thats not too complicated. Thanks for reading

Roon on the SHD is not officially released and at this point volume control from the app is not working.
