Hi,

I have a Problem with WI-DG running in station mode:
It detects a whole lot of wifi networks, but not mine, which should be by far the strongest one. Since I live in the center of Düsseldorf, which is a fairly big city, there are tons of wifi networks in the vicinity. Maybe the list is too short for all of them, I don'know. Does anybody have an idea whats going on?
My wifi base runs in 2.4 gHz and 5gHz mode and is based on a german Fritzbox 7580/7590. I never had any problems using wifi. All my devices connect flawlessly.

I did some tests like turning off 5gHz, connecting to wi-dg via ethernet and resetting the wi-dg, nothing helped, I don't see my wifi. The ssid of mywifi is orion , so no special characters in there as well.

Hi,

found the solution, my base fired on channel13 which wi-dg doesn't know. After switching the base to channel 6, it was found. Would be an item for the manual ;)

The Shd plugin now finds the shd, but Dirac live doesn't so I still need usb connection for measuring. Is that intended?

I would buy WI-DG if that would make it possible to use Dirac Live without usb cable. Until that's possible I'll stick to the old Dirac 1.x.

@Chris

Indeed valuable info and glad to hear that you're all set. We'll make sure to add to manual.
Dirac live control over Wifi isn't supported I'm afraid. Maybe in the future if we can. :-)
